Saying that Seattle "will always be in my heart and my second home" Fredy Montero posted his goodbye to the Seattle Sounders faithful just prior to 11 AM on this busy Wednesday. His note thanks the organization, the coaches, the players, but most of all the fans for his time in Seattle. He also says he expects to be back in the area one day.

His rumored loan to Millonarios is not yet official, but his father says it is a done deal and a goodbye note is another strong indicator. Seattle's quest to replace their all time, all competitions leading scorer, leading assist man and number two in minutes played will be under the pressure of knowing that training camp opens in just under two weeks. The first game is less than three months away as well.

In the past three days the Sounders are connected to two attacking players from La Liga - Joan Verdu and Nelson Valdez.
