Seattle Sounders FC is reportedly hitting the release clause and so are able to negotiate with Obafemi Martins and it is up to Levante to decide if they can increase their deal to keep him. But, per the Terra.com report Martins is not happy in Levante and looks likely to leave sooner rather than later. It ends saying the decision could come as soon as today.
In a other reports his total contract value (transfer fee plus guaranteed monies) could be as high as 10 million euros. If so that would mean his contract (no fee) is worth about 10 million dollars.
Two sites plus TMW have it down as €10M for Martins, but as @strummerclash has pointed out his buy-out clause is only €3M. Maybe €7M wages?

As of yet no indication as to length of deal is out there.
If Martins were to leave Spain in the next few days it would be unlikely that he starts the opener, but a start in two weeks against Portland would not be a surprise.
