Obafemi Martins tweets he is on his way to Seattle

There is still no official announcement by Seattle Sounders FC, but Obafemi Martins continues to tweet his journey to become a Sounder. This time the news is that he is on his way.

At last update he was completing paperwork in Spain, but it seems that he will be in Seattle quite shortly. Flights from Valencia have stops and/or plane changes, but it is possible to get to Seattle by 5:30 PM tonight.

Might Martins be formally revealed to the fans during the match Saturday night? It would be movie script kind of theater, which is probably appropriate considering this ownership. It would also bring even more energy to the full stadium in a situation where that is nearly impossible to achieve.
