Only 17 men have more MLS goals than Kenny Cooper. But last season's US Open Cup Player of the Tournament missed the 18 in the first match, and then missed practice last week.

Veteran forward Kenny Cooper missed the Thursday session with what Schmid called an excused absence.

The news this week isn't any different. Cooper is again excused.

At this point finding Kenny Cooper is hard. Here is a handy reminder of what Kenny Cooper looks like.

Where is Kenny?

I can't find him. I need your help. He's probably hiding in plain sight.

Sounders vs. Earthquakes: Photos

I can't find Kenny Cooper in the crowd, do you see him? Maybe he's in the blurry part... I don't think so.

Sounders vs Revolution

Kenny isn't on the field, can you find him in the stands?

USMNT vs. Panama Photo Gallery

This looks more like Waldo than Kenny.

Maybe this guy can help?

Lionel can't find Kenny, but they can find Waldo.

At this point the next time we find Kenny Cooper he won't look like this;

It seems like he won't be in Rave Green (Olympic White, Pitch Black, this really soft grey and an orange penny). The Cooper situation is a mystery. He's either not on the roster, or very quickly heading off of it. Last year's 14th most important player and holder of the US Open Cup Player of the Tournament is about to be #OnceASounder, opening up a roster spot and salary cap room.

The vague language surrounding his absences are similar to how other high priced talents left the team. Someday we'll find Kenny Cooper together and we'll thank him for a quality 2014, two trophies and reportedly being one of the greatest clubhouse men in Sounders history.
