The MLS spring transfer window closes on Tuesday and it appears as though the Seattle Sounders are trying to get at least one deal done. Brazilian attacking midfielder Thomas Jaguaribe is apparently close to finalizing a deal, at least according to a photo that appears to show him signing paperwork at the Sounders' training facility.

Although Jaguaribe does not have the most impressive resume -- the 22-year-old has failed to make much of an impact since signing with Flamengo in 2011 -- he has shown enough promise to get five caps with Brazil's U-20 national team and would likely take up a senior roster spot even if he got a most of his playing time with S2.
The Sounders currently have three open roster spots after cutting ties with Kenny Cooper and Kevin Parsemain and having the ability to send No. 3 goalkeeper Charlie Lyon to S2 at will.
