He once had an MLS contract and now Andy Craven will again be on an MLS deal. Seattle Sounders FC will sign the forward from S2 ahead of Sunday's match against the Portland Timbers.
The Sounders are set to announce the first-team signing of S2 forward Andy Craven ahead of tomorrow's Portland match

Without further moves, and after the rumored Erik Friberg signing, President of Soccer Garth Lagerwey will be unable to sign any other talents to the 1st team since they are out of roster spots.
Craven's athleticism, shot selection and vision with Sounders FC 2 in the USL are apparent. The forward/winger leads S2 in assists and is tied with Rossi and Jones in goals scored with five each.
The first team is currently without its star forwards. Clint Dempsey is suspended and Obafemi Martins is injured. Chad Barrett missed a few games with injury as well. The forward corp was so depleted that Sigi Schmid subbed Chad Marshall on as a forward in the loss at Philly.
Craven will be competing with Homegrown Players Darwin Jones and Victor Mansaray for playing time off the bench with the 1st team and is expected to be loaned to S2 when he needs games.
