The Major League Soccer secondary transfer window closes at 2 PM Pacific today. Now, that's only the time that transfer request must be in by, deals can be announced after the the window closes. Plus, teams can still sign frees that were out of contract prior to the close. And teams can sign players from within the USA soccer pyramid (from NASL, USL, etc) and their own Academies. What they cannot do is trade within the league.
That's why the Columbus Crew SC traded Adam Bedell for a 2nd round pick earlier today. Bedell is now with Orlando City SC. There will be some action with more signings. The Crew also added DP Gaston Sauro to bolster their defense.
