Six months after San Lorenzo passed up offers for winger Sebastián Blanco the Seattle Sounders are again rumored to be after him. Blanco is reportedly getting a transfer bid from Club America at 4 million dollars, but an MLS team is also after him.
If that MLS side is the Seattle Sounders it would be a resumption of their attempts to acquire him during last Summer’s transfer window. Back then the price was about 2 million.

San Lorenzo is saying that they are not interested in moving their key talent within Argentina’s Primera Division.
Blanco scored three times earning five assists in the current season. He’s started 10 games with one sub appearance playing 853 minutes. He is a fringe Argentina national team player with a couple appearances in friendlies.
San Lorenzo most often deploys him as a left winger in their 4-2-3-1, but have also used him as a number 10 and on the right. That would fit Seattle’s needs during the offseason if Clint Dempsey returns and plays in the hole amid the band of three.
When Nicolas Lodeiro signed, Blanco and Hiroshi Kiyotake were on the Sounders’ short list. They are now both again attached to the club.
