With just five weeks until the Sounders U23 season kicks off against the Portland Timbers U23s the South Sound club signs three more players to the roster. All three play at the University of Washington during the college season. Two are form Sounders Academy players.
Ian Lange and Michael Gallagher were paired at centerback when in the Academy, but their college careers are different. Lange played all over the field while Gallagher stuck in the back as a pure defender. Lange is probably most known for his prowess scoring headers at the U18 level.
Michael Harris is the third Husky joining the U23s. If you watched even one match of the Dawgs last season you saw his famous flip throw. Harris one of three Seniors on the Husky Spring roster.
The trio of signees will be playing in the Husky Spring Season that starts Saturday with matches at 1 PM (against Peninsula CC) and 7 PM (BYU's PDL squad) over on campus.
On May 16th the Sounders U23s play the Portland Timbers in Portland. They start US Open Cup play two days prior on May 14th against team still to be determined.
