Sean Bowman is the current Sounders U18 leader in goals scored with 11 goals. He recently committed to University of San Francisco of the WCC.
"In the end the coaching staff, location and the excitement of making a difference at USF was the deciding factor," Bowman told TopDrawerSoccer.com. "I could not be more excited to be heading to USF, an all around great place to go to college while having an amazing athletic and academic experience."
Last year, also with the 18s he scored only once, but 15 appearances as a sub on a roster with Olsen, Adekoya, Kalamar, Chaffin and Wingo. In 2014-15 he and Mansaray are the scoring threats. He has four total seasons with the Sounders Academy. Prior to the Rave Green he had several years with Crossfire and Washington State ODP.
The USF Dons Head Coach spent the last several years holding down coaching positions with UCLA, US Beach Soccer and the LA Galaxy Academy.
