The Seattle Sounders are wasting little time this offseason taking a look at prospects, and the existence of Seattle Sounders 2 only makes these all the more intriguing. A pair of foreign youth national teamers are apparently on trial in Las Vegas, neither of whom seem likely to be MLS ready but who are intriguing nonetheless.

The first player is Simon Grether, a 22-year-old Swiss midfielder. He's played the last few seasons in the Swiss Challenge League, the country's second tier. This year's he's been with first-place Wohlen and has appeared in half their 18 matches, failing to register any goals or assists. Although it's been a few years since he was in the youth national team setup, Grether was once promising enough to get six appearances for the Switzerland U19 team in the 2010-11 European championships.
The other player is Andres Correa, a 20-year-old Colombian defender. Last year he split time with mid-table Colombian top-flight teams Fortaleza and Medellin. He's also been a regular on Colombia's youth national teams, seeing time with the U17, U20 and U21 sides and starting four games in the 2013 U20 World Cup.
