With a 3-2-0 +3 record good for third in early Northwest Division PDL play the Sounders U23s are in a decent spot for a Playoff run. Today, they get the boost of former Washington State Gatorade and 2012/13 USSDA Player of the Year Jordan Morris. He will be on the roster against Kitsap when the U23s play on the road Friday night (7:30 pm) and per the press release from the team is assured to play Sunday against the Timbers U23s Sunday at Tumwater High at 2 PM.

"Jordan Morris is an exciting young player and he seems to excel at every level he gets the opportunity to play at," Sounders U-23 GM and Head Coach, Darren Sawatzky said in the press release. "The U-23 team is a great place for him to continue his rise in the game during the summer months."

Morris has trained with the United States U-20s, the U-21s and with the full national team recently during World Cup preparations. As a freshman he was all Pac-12 First Team. During Spring Break he trained with Seattle Sounders FC's First Team and with the Everton youth team.
