Seattle Sounders FC 2 broadcasts will look and a bit different than you're probably used to. Not only will the games all be aired over YouTube, but there will be a rotation of three broadcast pairs. One of those pairs are likely familiar to a lot of you, GregR and Manley of 107.7 The End. Here's how they were introduced:
Gregr, at least, also has some experience with the Sounders as he hosts the Sounders Weekly podcast with Ross Fletcher.
The other pairs are Central Washington students Payton Berens and Drew Wallen (who also call CWU basketball games) and Aaron Heinzen and Nathan Murphy. Heinzen is a former UW soccer player, who also played three seasons with the Timbers in the USL.
