The most important thing you can learn as S2 takes on the Tulsa Roughnecks Friday night is how many 1st team loanees are at Starfire Sports. With the significant issues hurting the MLS squad expect Seattle Sounders FC 2 to take a bit of a hit. That means that the USL signees will need to carry the day against a team that beat them in Oklahoma earlier this year.
But, it's at Starfire and S2 is really good at Starfire Sports - undefeated even.
Here's what to watch, with a focus on only those we know will be there.
Andy Craven - his energy and shot cannot be doubted at this point. The thing that will make him an MLS player will be if his first touch shows at that level.
Andres Correa - the MLS contracted left back has shown serious issues on defense. If he's going to be an MLS full back he needs to be better in one-on-one circumstances. Or he could wind up playing winger.
Charlie Lyon - he's signed with the first team and his shot stopping is average. But his distribution is poor.
Pablo Rossi - the free kick specialist moved to the bench recently, but with the likely 1st team calls for his attacking competition he should start. He has to show that he's more than a dead ball man.
