Seattle Sounders 2 vs Swope Park Rangers: live stream, game time, and lineups

S2 face off against the other Park Rangers tonight.

If you are a United States or Chile fan looking for a pick me up from the horror of yesterday’s results, or a Panama or Peru fan looking for a gentle come down from the elation you felt, the soccer options are fairly limited today. As Sounders fans we are in luck because Seattle Sounders FC 2 are playing this very night which means we don’t have to wait for the weekends set of club matches to reset the palette.

Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately, this one will be a low stakes match with S2 out of the playoffs and Swope Park Rangers pretty much secure in their seeding. It would have fun to have the chance to play the spoiler in these last few weeks but the top 8 has separated themselves from the rest so S2 won’t get the chance. However, this game still has intrigue. It is S2’s penultimate match of the season and will be one of the last chances we have to view the youngsters before we begin the offseason speculation of which will get preseason invites and which might just make the First Team. It is a fun conversation to have so I would suggest everyone watch this one so you can argue with me on this topic when the year’s soccer is done.
