Alright folks, this is it, the finale of Seattle Sounders 2’s fifth season, and the first based out of Tacoma. This will be the last time a team known as S2 has a game thread as a rebrand to the Kraken, or Narrows, or Tacoma FC/SC, or maybe something else is planned in the offseason. Midweek, S2 failed to close out their 2018 season at Cheney with a win, but this week they have another chance to end the year on a positive note. It won’t be easy though; while S2 improved at home in the second half of the season, that improved form has not come on the road with them. They are yet to win a game on the road, and have only managed two draws. That gives this match, which could have little meaning, some intrigue as S2 will certainly want to erase that bagel from the win column.
Luckily their opponent tonight is the one team below them in the Western Conference standings, the Tulsa Roughnecks, so they should have a real shot at getting that first road win. Tulsa are bottom of the league in goals scored and goals allowed and have only managed 2 shutouts this season. It truly might be the only road game this year where S2 are favored to win. If S2 can treat this as a home game and take it to Tulsa they will almost certainly win. So let’s go into the offseason with a bang and a win.

Keys to the Game:
- Press, press, press
- Take it to a horrible Tulsa defense
- Don’t let up, S2 could easily score 4, so do it
