Ahead of their weekend game in Kansas City, Seattle Sounders FC 2 have bolstered their roster with GK Bryan Meredith, RB Jordan McCrary and Midfielders Handwalla Bwana, Henry Wingo and Alex Roldan. S2 now has seven players on standard USL loan agreements for the 2018, Calle Brown and Tony Alfaro were added before last week’s home opener. The loan agreement means these players will be able to play for both S2 and the First Team throughout the USL and MLS seasons. This also means that at least some of the five new additions will likely be in the 18 for Saturday’s 5:30 PM S2 match against Swope Park Rangers, especially given the reality that the First Team is on a bye week.

S2 now have a fairly robust roster, with 20 professional players eligible to play for the side and an additional 11 academy players on amateur contracts (Khai Brisco, Jacob Castro, Sam Fowler, Peter Kingston, Blake Malone, Cameron Martin, Jake Morris, RJ Stretch, Dylan Teves, Gabe Threadgold, Marlon Vargas).
