Seattle Sounders 2 vs Reno 1868 FC: live stream, game time, and lineups

S2 look to get another result against Reno 1868

Today, at Cheney Field, Seattle Sounders 2 take on the best team they have gotten a result against this season, and also the last team they got a point against on the road, Reno 1868 FC. So, maybe, and despite their recent struggles and relative table position, this is a chance for S2 to grab a few points. There is a chance some of the S2 players will still be a bit shaken by the events of Wednesday’s game, but with Francisco Narbón’s surgery going well by all accounts hopefully the team will be able to put it out of their minds for a couple of hours and play a good soccer game, as it seems Narbón would want them to.

With Narbón’s injury and Sam Rogers’ fitness still an unknown, S2 are a bit short at defensive midfield and centerback so we will likely see a few Academy players suit up to try and slow a hot Reno side that has won three straight and hasn’t lost in fourteen! Reno are a team that likes to keep possession, and are one of the leagues most accurate passing sides. If S2 want to come away with a result it will be key for them to take advantage of the few turnovers Reno gives them and be quick and clinical on the counter.
