The Seattle Sounders traveled to Frisco, TX., with an opportunity to shorten their opening round series against FC Dallas and were decisive in not taking it. The hosts jumped out to an early lead at the six minute mark and doubled that lead from the penalty spot inside the opening 20, as the Sounders looked simply shambolic. The rest of the half was better from Seattle, and they scored their first (and only) goal via a fantastic Jordan Morris effort early in the second. Seattle pressed for the equalizer that would have forced penalties, but it didn’t come, and instead, they were exposed on the counter for a third late in the match. The pivotal Game 3 is back in Seattle on Friday.

Here is a direct link to the form; we hope this allows everyone to submit a response.
