Hot on the heels of a supposed moral victory over DC United, your Seattle Sounders traveled 150-ish miles northeast to resume a match with Philadelphia Union that officially started back in March. The first half felt cathartic as the Sounders ditched their typical plodding possession in favor of quick counters, and the Union played into their hands, happy to push their fullbacks forward, leaving acres of space. However, this gave way to a nervy second half, as Seattle gave up two and will be thankful to have escaped with a much-needed win.
