The Sounders got a brace from Obed Vargas sandwiched around goals by Jordan Morris and Danny Musovski, dominating the game outside of a five-minute stretch during first-half stoppage time in which Minnesota scored both of their goals.
With the best-of-3 series now tied 1-1, a winner-take-all Game 3 will be played on Saturday in Minnesota at 1 PM.
