The Seattle Sounders and LAFC both come into Wednesday’s game on five-game unbeaten streaks. Both teams played over the weekend, with the Sounders beating the Houston Dynamo 3-1 on Saturday and LAFC tying the Vancouver Whitecaps on Sunday.

To help us get some insight into LAFC, we reached out to Trebor Tracy of Angels on Parade.

Notable injuries

Maxime Chanot (Head) has been out for about a month and won't be back in this one.

Team’s form

LAFC has been in really great form as of late, riding a five-game unbeaten streak (2-0-3) into this game. After some early-season struggles in finding the back of the net, LAFC have 11 goals during this unbeaten streak.

Key players to watch

Denís Bouanga has started to find his form recently, with five goals and two assists in his past five games while Nathan Ordaz has continued to grow into a leader in the attack.

One thing we should know about LAFC

This is one of the more organic rivalries in MLS, LAFC will come into this match looking to prove once again that they are the better of the two in the West. However, with this being a midweek match, there is also the possibility we see a rotated squad with some key players either taking the match off entirely, or being deployed as subs off the bench.

Projected lineup

(4-3-3) Lloris; Palencia, Segura, Long, Hollingshead; Delgado, Tillman, Jesus; Bouanga, Ordaz, Martinez
