The Seattle Sounders hosted their Cascadia rivals, the Vancouver Whitecaps, in a back-and-forth affair at Lumen Field on Saturday. While the first half was rather stagnant, the second featured a flurry of three goals in three minutes that saw the Sounders emerge with a 2-1 lead. Then, in the 69th minute, Mathías Laborda, who some would argue should no longer have been on the field, notched the equalizer off a corner. Points dropped.
