The Seattle Sounders opened round one of their (hopefully lengthy and glorious) playoff run in Minnesota, and played the Loons to a 0-0 draw. Unfortunately, their spot kicks found the woodwork just as often as they found the back of the net, with efforts from Cristian Roldan and Danny Leyva just a bit too perfect. United took this one 3-2 in the shootout, as the series swings to Seattle for what is suddenly a must-win match on November 3rd.
