The Seattle Sounders' 2025 MLS campaign has come to an end in excruciating fashion. In a win-or-go-home match in Minnesota, the Sounders found themselves up 2-0, and later, up 2-1 and up a man. In spite of this, they needed a late Jordan Morris equalizer just to force a shootout. In said shootout, key saves from Andrew Thomas gave the Sounders multiple chances to walk away victorious, but each time they were denied.
