The 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup draw is today at 4 PM PT, with the 27-team field learning who they would potentially face on the path to the title. The Seattle Sounders are one of five teams who received a bye into the Round of 16. By virtue of their No. 9 ranking among Concacaf clubs, the Sounders will avoid the top 5 teams in those rankings at least until the quarterfinals.

The field will include eight additional MLS teams, six clubs from Liga MX and 12 other teams from Canada and Central America.

Of the 22 teams that will participate in tonight’s draw, three are pre-seeded (Cruz Azul, Tigres UANL and Club America) based on club rankings while the other 19 are broken into two pots, with the top eight ranked in one (Whitecaps, LAFC, CF Monterrey, Union, FC Cincinnati, Galaxy, Nashville and Pumas UNAM) and the other 11 in the other. The three seeded teams and eight Pot 1 teams will be drawn against teams from Pot 2 for their Round One matchups.
