With the start of Hanukkah less than a week away and Christmas a little more than two weeks away, any gifts you buy will likely need to be ordered very soon. Here’s a quick guide to help find stuff for the soccer fan in your life:

Of course, we’re going to selfishly start with a plug. But the truth of the matter is that one thing we believe every Sounders fan needs is a subscription to Sounder at Heart. There are two options:

Pre-order The Messi Effect
Look, I understand that everyone is tired of hearing about Leo Messi, but I think you’re going to want to read this. Paul Tenorio is arguably the best journalist covering MLS and he’s spent the last couple years writing this book that attempts to detail the way Messi has impacted MLS. But what’s more interesting, I’d argue, is the parts of the story that don’t directly reference Messi and what his signing has forced MLS to do.
