Following the transfer of Jordyn Huitema to Chicago earlier in the day, Seattle Reign announced their finalized roster ahead of the 2026 NWSL season, with 23 active players and 2 players unavailable due to maternity leave (Lynn Biyendolo) and recovery from long-term injury (Cassie Miller). The club currently has three open roster spots, plus several open international slots.

The team made one addition to the roster on Thursday afternoon, signing of forward/midfielder Ruby Hladek to a short-term contract through June. Hladek joined the team as a preseason trialist out of Utah Valley University, where she scored 24 goals and 32 assists in 60 matches over three years as a winger and attacking mid. During her senior season she scored 15 goals and 13 assists and was named WAC Offensive Player of the Year and First Team All-WAC.

“Preseason with this group has been such a memorable experience,” said Hladek in a team release. “Since joining in January, the players and staff have made me feel welcomed while also pushing me to grow and improve every day. I’m so grateful and excited for the opportunity to start my professional career with the Reign, and I look forward to contributing in every way I can!”

Seattle Reign kick off their season at Orlando Pride on Sunday, March 15 at 1 PM PT. The game will air on the league’s new free streaming partner, Victory+, and will also air in the Seattle area on Fox 13+.
