Seattle Reign continue their three-game road trip this afternoon with a trip to Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego to face the Wave. San Diego have been at or near the top of the table for most of the season and are coming off a 2-2 draw at Kansas City last Friday. The Reign are looking to rebound after a 3-2 loss at Gotham where the hosts scored three very late goals to complete a comeback.
This is the first meeting between the two sides this season. Seattle holds a significant historical advantage over the Wave, with a 9-1-3 all-time record, which includes a 4-1-2 record in San Diego. The Reign have scored 18 goals and conceded 7 in the series.
