Your Seattle Sounders traveled east to face a middling FC Cincinnati side, and worked their way to a comeback draw. Not a loss! For close to an hour, it looked like it would be another in a string of recent losses, as Evander’s opener off multiple rebounds gave the hosts a lead. Cincy continued to apply pressure, but the Sounders continued to repel it and slowly grew into the game, creating chances of their own. Eventually, in the 83rd minute, the Sounders found their equalizer. After an Albert Rusnák corner was initially dealt with, the second phase saw Kalani Kossa-Rienzi hold space, separating himself from FCC’s back line, and lashing home the equalizer.
