I watched the Sounders lose 2-1 away to the Portland Timbers on Saturday evening, and a large part of me wishes I hadn’t. The Sounders are just a struggle at the moment. Yes, injuries and absences play a role, but it’s tough to chalk all of this up to that and that alone. The attack is predictable, the defense always seems to find ways to let in goals, and the transition from back to front is plodding. How many losses in a row is it now?
I’d encourage you to find another way to spend your two hours. But if you spent it with our guys, then rate on, I suppose.
