• Even going back to the club's founding in 1974, the Sounders have never lost six straight regular-season games in regulation. The only other time they lost six straight was during in 1983 during the NASL era, which included two shootout losses.
• The Sounders have not only given up the first goal in all five of their recent losses, but they’ve now given up the first goal in seven straight games overall. They’ve not posted a shutout in their last 12 games.
• Over their last eight games against one another, the Sounders and Timbers are 2–2–4. The last time one of the teams won even two straight was from 2021–2023 when the Timbers won four in a row.
