The Seattle Sounders advanced to the Leagues Cup semifinals with a shootout win over Club Puebla on Wednesday. Andrew Thomas made two saves in the shootout while Alex Roldan, Jesus Ferreira, Jackson Ragen and Obed Vargas all converted their attempts. They’ll now visit the LA Galaxy for a semifinal match on Aug. 27 and are assured of playing in either the final or third-place game on Aug. 31.
