The Seattle Sounders will likely have at least one eye on next Wednesday's Leagues Cup semifinal against the LA Galaxy, but first they need to take care of business today against Sporting KC.

Sporting KC's season is all but over, due in no small part to a five-game winless streak in which they've claimed just one point. They also seem to have run into a bit of an injury crisis with two of their top playmakers – Manu Garcia and Erik Thommy – ruled out for this game.

The Sounders will probably roll out a heavily rotated lineup, but they have been able to get plenty of results while make changes this year. They're also 11-1-6 against North American competition at home this year, while Sporting KC is one of the worst road teams in the West with 11 points in 13 games.

Yeimar Gomez Andrade will make his 200th career appearance for the Sounders if he features tonight.
The Sounders will welcome their 10 millionth fan at this game, joining the LA Galaxy as the second MLS team to reach that mark. The Sounders will do it in 200 fewer matches.

The Sounders won the first meeting between these teams 3-2 earlier this year. They will be attempting to sweep their season series with Sporting KC for the first time since 2011.
