The Sounders went into halftime trailing 1-0, but then equalized less than a minute into the second half on a Georgi Minoungou goal off a Danny Musovski assist. They proceeded to generate several more golden opportunities but couldn't find a way past Brad Stuver. That proved costly when on the game's final sequence, Dani Perreira was allowed to find CJ Fodrey at the back post, who headed it across goal for Myrto Uzuni.
