Seattle Reign FC will take on the North Carolina Courage this Sunday evening at Lumen Field. Playoff positions are on the line in a tight table with four matches remaining after this. Separated in the standings by two points, any result will have consequences for both teams. A win would put Seattle in fourth place, while a loss would drop them below North Carolina into the eighth and final playoff spot.

The Reign are 5-11-3 all-time against the Courage, scoring 15 goals and conceding 26. They are 3-2-3 in home matchups. The last meeting between these two sides resulted in a 2-1 road victory for Seattle in March, featuring goals from Jess Fishlock and Jordyn Bugg. Reign will be looking to bounce back from a 2-0 loss last week to the runaway shield winners in the Kansas City Current. Lynn Biyendolo has also returned to training while recovering from a knee injury but is not yet available for match selection. Ana-Maria Crnogorčević is available after missing the last match due to an ankle injury sustained in training.
Jess Fishlock will start her 200th regular-season match for the Reign. She also has the chance to pass Megan Rapinoe for most goal contributions in club history with a goal or an assist.
