MLS Next Pro has released the 2026 regular season schedule with every team playing 28 matches, 14 at home and 14 on the road. Notably, MLS Next Pro will continue to play throughout the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The Defiance will continue to play home games at Starfire Stadium and open their season at home on March 1 against LAFC 2 at 7 PM PST. This starts a home heavy schedule where they play 6 of their first 8 games at Starfire and coincides well with the Sounders' schedule where they will be on a five-game road trip from Feb. 28 through April 4.
There will also be a lot of Cascadia action for Defiance as they play each local rival three times, closing out the season against Timbers2 on Sept. 20 at 2 PM PST.
All tickets for 2026 Defiance matches will be available at the door for a donation to RAVE Foundation to help in their goal to build 52 mini pitches throughout Washington State by the end of 2026.
Schedule notes
- The longest homestand is 3 games from March 14th through March 29.
- There are two stretches of 3-game away trips from May 3rd through May 17 and August 30th through Sept. 13.
- Defiance will play a total of 6 games during the 2026 FIFA World Cup
- All home games are at 7 PM or 8 PM PST except for decision day where they play at 2 PM PST
- The out-of-division opponents are Houston Dynamo 2, Austin FC II, St Louis CITY2, Sporting KC II and MNUFC2
