At least eight Seattle Reign players will depart after this weekend's match to represent their countries during an extended FIFA international window, which runs from April 7-18. That includes all three of the Reign's healthy goalkeepers, who will represent several U.S. senior and youth national teams.

After players return from national team duty, the Reign will finally make their 2026 Seattle debut on grass at Lumen Field. They'll kick off Sunday, April 26, at 5 p.m. PT against the Utah Royals.

The Reign earned six points in their first two "home" games in Spokane, and have one more match to round out their Eastern Washington homestand before the FIFA window begins. This Saturday, April 4, the Reign will face expansion club Denver Summit. The match kicks off at 5:45 p.m. PT and will air on ION.

Here's a rundown of the Reign's national team call-ups:

USWNT

Goalkeeper Claudia Dickey was named to the U.S. Women’s National Team roster for the April FIFA window, with the U.S. facing Japan in a three-match series. Their second match will take place at Lumen Field on April 14, the program’s first match in Seattle since 2017. Dickey has eight USWNT caps, recording seven shutouts since making her debut in June 2025.

Reign season ticket members will automatically have tickets to the game.

US U-23 WNT

Goalkeeper and Reign Academy graduate Neeku Purcell has been called in for the U.S. U-23 training camp, which includes three matches in Spain. The U.S. will face the Netherlands U-23 WNT on April 10 and then take on the Denmark U-23 WNT on April 13. If the U.S. wins that game, they will play the winner of a France-Scotland U-23 WNT match. If the U.S. loses to Denmark, it will play the loser of the other match.

U.S. U-20 WNT

Emeri Adames, Jordyn Bugg, Sofia Cedeño, and Ainsley McCammon have been called up for a U.S. U-20 training camp that will include two matches against fellow U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifier Brazil. The camp is a continuation of the squad’s preparations for the U-20 World Cup, which will take place in Poland from September 5-27.

All four Reign players are age-eligible for the tournament. Adames and Bugg represented the U.S. in the 2024 U-20 World Cup, earning a Bronze medal. McCammon co-captained the U-17 squad at the U-17 World Cup that same year, with her team also earning Bronze.

U.S. U-19 WNT

Goalkeeper Evan O’Steen was named to the roster for the U.S. U-19 WNT training camp in Argentina. The U-19 squad will play two matches against the hosts during this camp, on April 14 and 17, at the Argentina Football Federation Training Center in Buenos Aires, Argentina. While the Reign have not yet shared this news broadly, they did tell supporters at the Reign Rally in Spokane last Friday that O'Steen recently signed a multi-year contract extension through 2030, with details expected to be officially announced soon.

Wales WNT

Wales captain Angharad James-Turner will represent her country in two FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifying matches this month. Wales is in Group B1 alongside Albania, Czechia, and Montenegro. They current sit at the top of the group and will take on Albania in back-to-back matches on April 14 and 18.

Other notes

Holly Ward, who made her senior national team debut last April, was left off Canada's roster "due to injury," according to Canada Soccer's release. The Reign will hold a press conference and release their availability report tomorrow, at which time we will presumably learn more about her status.

Haiti also has two Concacaf W qualifiers during this window. They have not yet announced their roster for the matches, which take place on April 9 and 17 in Le Grosier, Guadeloupe. Nérilia Mondésir, who captains the Haitian national team, did not join the squad for their March qualifier against Suriname.
