Unbeaten in five straight but still winless in 13 consecutive league games, tonight the Seattle Sounders host the only team in the league who has earned fewer points since the World Cup break. Real Salt Lake, who were 8–4–2 heading into the break, have now gone 12 games without a win and have just three points in the 11 matches they’ve plays since.

A big part of RSL’s struggles – like the Sounders – has been a roster decimated by absences. Their availability report for tonight’s game lists 10 players out, including several would-be starters like Justen Glad, Diego Luna and Juan Manuel Sanabria. That doesn’t even include Zavier Gozo, who was transferred to Crystal Palace about a month ago.

The Sounders won’t be at full strength either, but the did get some positive news when it was revealed that Jordan Morris would be available despite leaving last Saturday’s match early. They also found out that the only player they’ll have missing due to international duty for this game due is Dejan Joveljić, as Snyder Brunell won’t have to report for another five days.
