Seattle played a hard-fought match with Western Conference foe Vancouver Whitecaps, and although they outshot the opponent 17-4 they were unable to earn the full three points. A flurry of opportunities nearly saw Seattle with another late winner, but it wasn't to be, though the draw extended their 8 game unbeaten streak.
