Seattle Reign FC start a two-game homestand tonight when they host first-place Kansas City Current at 7:30 PM at Lumen Field. The Reign have an even record with the Current, having won 5, lost 5 and drawn one match all-time against the club, with 12 goals scored by each side. That includes a 3-1-1 record at home.

Last week the Reign drew Bay FC on the road, 1-1, while the Current dropped their first points of the season in a 3-2 loss at NC Courage.

Tonight’s game marks the beginning of the club’s new partial broadcast package with Fox 13+, which will feature a local commentary crew calling the game. The match also remains available to stream on NWSL+ and Paramount+.

The availability report remains the same as last week, with Jess Fishlock and Nérilia Mondésir both expected to be out for a couple more weeks while recovering from leg injuries. Defender Madison Curry exited last weekend’s match at halftime due to a knock, and head coach Laura Harvey indicated that her recovery has gone well but they might hold her out of this game.
The Current have never won a regular-season game in Seattle, with the Reign’s only home loss coming in the 2022 playoffs.
The Reign are hosting the Queen City Social pregame in the north end of the stadium at the Cityside Bar. Veronica Latsko is this week’s special guest and will be giving a talk before the match.
