Five Seattle Reign players have been called up by senior and youth national teams for training camps and matches during the upcoming FIFA international window, which runs October 5-13. A few other players are likely joining their national teams, with rosters still unannounced. The NWSL is taking a break during this FIFA international window, so players should not miss any Reign matches.
Claudia Dickey will again return to the U.S. Women's National Team for two big games against Spain during the FIFA window. The first match will take place October 10 at Audi Field in Washington, D.C., followed by an October 13 game at Subaru Park in Chester, Pennsylvania.
Dickey has earned 11 caps for the USWNT and recorded nine clean sheets since her debut in June 2025. In a press conference following the roster announcement, USWNT head coach Emma Hayes indicated that Dickey is at the top of the goalkeeper list for the time being.

Three Seattle Reign players — Jordyn Bugg, Maddie Dahlien, and Mia Fishel — will join the U.S. U-23 WNT for a camp at the U.S. Soccer National Training Center in Fayetteville, Georgia. The U-23 WNT will train alongside the senior team for the week but will stay in Georgia when the USWNT travels for their matches against Spain. During that time, the U-23 WNT will play two matches against the Dominican Republic U-23 WNT.
Fishel is one of five “overage” players in this camp, who are typically returning from injury or on the fringe of senior team selection. The other overage players are goalkeeper Angelina Anderson, defender Kate Del Fava, midfielder Gia Corley, and forward Jameese Joseph.
Midfielder Angharad James-Turner has been called up to the Welsh Women’s National Team for the first round of the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup European playoff, which they qualified for after finishing at the top of Group B1 during the qualifying stage. Wales will face Albania on the road on October 9 before hosting the second leg on October 13. If Wales wins the two-game series, they will play either Norway or Romania in a two-legged playoff final in December, and Jess Fishlock will join Wales as a coach for those games.
In preparation for Concacaf World Cup qualifiers in November, Haiti will be playing two matches in France against tough competition. On October 9, they'll face Japan at Stade Bauer just outside Paris, followed by a match against Australia on October 13 at Stade Walter Luzi, another stadium in the Paris suburbs. The roster for these games has not been announced, although Haiti captain Nérilia Mondésir should be an important figure in the Concacaf qualifiers, with these two October matches serving as critical build-up for the tournament.
As part of continental qualifying — Africa has two berths for the 2028 Olympics — Ivory Coast will play two matches against the Democratic Republic of Congo. These games come in the second round of a long, drawn-out CAF Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournament. While the roster has not been named for these two matches, which take place on October 9 and 13, Ami Diallo is likely to receive a call-up.
Holly Ward was not called up for Canada's October matches. The 22-year-old has featured in 18 games for the Reign this season, including four starts, and logged 414 minutes.
All players will be available for the Reign's upcoming match against the North Carolina Courage on Friday, October 2. The Courage sit just one point behind the Reign in a tight playoff battle. The Reign will recognize Jess Fishlock at the match, with the first 5,000 fans getting a commemorative Fishlock pin.
