The Seattle Sounders’ first significant offseason addition will likely be in a position where they are already reasonably deep, Sounder at Heart has learned. Although the move isn’t quite yet complete, Brazilian centerback Nathan Cardoso is close to signing. Nathan, 28, spent three years with the San Jose Earthquakes, although he missed all of 2023 after suffering an ACL injury in preseason.
