For the second time in three years, Ballard FC will be playing for the USL2 National Championship when they take on Vermont Green tonight at 4 PM.
These have been two of the best and most exciting USL2 teams since they both joined in 2022. Ballard have made the national playoffs in all four of their seasons and have now played in consecutive U.S. Open Cups, while Vermont went undefeated this year.
Ballard FC punched their ticket to the final by beating Flint City Bucks 2-1 in the national semifinal. Vermont Green outlasted Dothan United in penalties.
