Seattle Reign travel to Florida today for their third consecutive match against the Orlando Pride, kicking off the 2026 NWSL season on new league broadcast partner Victory+ at 1 PM Pacific. The Reign closed out the 2025 NWSL regular season in Orlando with a 1-1 draw, and immediately faced the Pride again in the playoff quarterfinals, getting knocked out with a 2-0 loss. Orlando then lost to Gotham in the semifinals, 1-0.
Seattle’s record in season openers is 4-3-5. They hold a 7-6-8 all-time record against the Pride, with 31 goals scored and 24 conceded. Last season the Reign went 0-2-1 against Orlando in all competitions.

- The Reign come into 2026 with two long-term absences. Lynn Biyendolo will be out on materniny leave through at least the summer, and Cassie Miller remains out while rehabbing a leg injury picked up last fall. Jordyn Bugg, Sally Menti and Shae Holmes are also still recovering from knocks in preseason, and new signing Holly Ward is unavailable pending some final paperwork.
