Salmon Bay FC's remarkable second season has reached another milestone.

After Sunday's dramatic 2-1 come-from-behind victory against Snohomish United clinched the Northwest Division title, Salmon Bay has qualified for the USL W League Playoffs for the first time in club history. The championship also brings home-field advantage, with Interbay Stadium set to host both the Western Conference semifinals on Friday, July 3, and the conference final on Sunday, July 5.

It's a fitting reward for a club that has quickly established itself as one of the USL W League's success stories. In just two seasons, Salmon Bay has built one of the league's best matchday environments while establishing itself as a contender on the field. Now they'll have the opportunity to chase a conference championship in front of their home supporters.

"This is a landmark moment for our club," Salmon Bay FC Vice President Tiffany Mallick said. "From the beginning, our vision has been to build a club that creates opportunities for women, inspires young athletes, and brings our community together around soccer. To now host playoff soccer at Interbay Stadium in just our second season is incredibly special. We can't wait to welcome fans from across the region and showcase the incredible atmosphere that Seattle has created for women's soccer."

The weekend also marks another milestone for former Seattle Reign star and Salmon Bay FC co-owner Lu Barnes, who will feature for the club throughout their playoff run. Seeing Salmon Bay host playoff soccer at Interbay is another chapter in her long career of growing the women's game in the region. One of the defining figures in Seattle women's soccer over the past two decades, Barnes has helped shape the club since its founding.

The Western Conference's four remaining teams will converge on Seattle on Friday, with the two semifinal winners returning Sunday to play for a place in the USL W League national semifinals. Fans can expect the same matchday experience that has become synonymous with Salmon Bay FC, including local food vendors, the Bridges United Foundation Beer Garden, expanded seating, family activities, and some of the country's top pre-professional players competing for a championship.

Tickets for both playoff dates are on sale now through Salmon Bay FC, with large crowds expected for the club's first home playoff matches. Salmon Bay kick off against Colorado Storm at 7 pm at Interbay Stadium.
