As you’ve probably heard by now, Sounder at Heart is launching a print magazine called IV — pronounced “Four” — that will focus on covering the Seattle professional soccer scene. We’re currently taking preorders for $10 each until the end of January. After that, we need to place our order with the printer and we’ll be selling them for the cover price of $14.99. (You can read more about the magazine in our previous post about it.)
Today's big announcement is that we've finalized plans for the launch party, which will primarily serve as an opportunity to pick up the magazine in person (and save you the cost of postage). We'll be hosting the event at Project 9 Brewing Co. in the Maple Leaf neighborhood from 5-9 PM on Friday, February 20. If you've already paid for shipping and want to pick it up, please reach out and we'll make arrangements as the magazines will ship directly from the printer.

Project 9 is one of my favorite breweries in town and will be one of the advertisers in the inaugural issue of IV. In addition to serving wonderful beer, they've got a really inviting, family-friendly space. You're free to bring in outside food, and there's also a taco truck parked right outside.
We aren't planning for any formal programming, but will hopefully have a few special guests coming by and many of the Sounder at Heart crew will certainly be there. We'd love to see you!
